Letoya Luckett appeared on Brian McKnight’s radio show (I forgot he even had one of those) the other night to talk about several things including her start with Destiny’s Child, her solo career, modeling and her new film which comes out late this month titled The Preacher’s Kid. In addition, she performed her break out hit “Torn” with Brian on piano. This quiet-storm version of the song is pared down to its barest form where we’re able to clearly see the vocal talent this chick has. There’s no disputing that this girl can sing, because she can. Her album Lady Love is actually quite good too. It’s a shame that talent like this gets lost in the midst of record companies willing to put marketing money into artists who really don’t deserve it.
