Alicia Keys graced the stage of the UK talent show the X-Factor this past weekend to sing Empire State of Mind part 2, Doesnt Mean Anything and No One. This performance was by far 10x’s better than her AMA performance and the clear back-lit piano just did it for me. That was just the icing on the cake. I really wish Alicia would just realize there is no need for her to reinvent the wheel. What she’s got going for her works. The look, the sound, the vibe. Nevertheless, she looked fabulous, sounded pretty good (even though I’ve heard her sound better live) and gave the fans across the pond something to talk about. Check the performance video.
