The Soul Train Music Awards aired last night on BET and its new affiliate station CENTRIC. I was not one who chose to watch the awards this year mainly because BET productions are just not my cup of tea. Actually, I was only interested in the performances. Artist like Toni Braxton, Chrisette Michelle and Erykah Badu came out to perform last night and pay tribute to the classic dance show we all ( well, most of us) grew up watching. Check out the performance videos and winners below.

At least at we knew Mike would win entertainer of the year here. Ugh. Still mad about Taylor winning at the AMAs. But I guess in the black community, it’s always the year of the Beyonce. I am happy that Maysa won though. I love her.
