Beyonce premiered her video for “Video Phone” featuring Lady GaGa as promised a few moments ago. Here we see Bey in all her onesie’ed fierceness taking her inspiration from classic pin up girls mixed with a some guns and some futuristic fantasy. Paired here are two of the largest, most influential music stars there is and here we see why they are so.
They are bonafide performers. No one can take that away from them nor say it isn’t so. Gaga is usually the one with the heavily computerized videos with tons of imagery and visual effect. We see Bey tinkering with a little of that here while showing Gaga how to grind and wind it out like the big booty girls do. I ain’t mad at you Bey.
Can’t do too much hating on this because they are both doing their thing. But, it would’ve been nice to actually see a video phone in a song that talks about watching on a video phone. I’m just saying.
